The Pallbearers MC would like to thank everyone that came out to ride with us on 9/12/2020. It was not a ride for our club or to raise money for our cause. It was a ride to bring us all together to remind everyone of the importance of the date 9/11/2001 because everything else was canceled. We were not going to sit on the sidelines and let this year be any different than years past.
The phrase “Never Forget” is most commonly used in regard to the attacks on 9/11/2001. This year, with COVID-19 looming over us all, we wanted to make sure “Never Forget” was more than just the thing to say 19 years ago. We wanted to bring our community together and show our respect and remember those 2,977 people who lost their lives that day, and the brave men and women who risked their lives rushing in to help those in need. They didn’t know many of the people they were rushing into harm’s way to help. They didn’t know the color of their skin or their religious beliefs. They were simply people. People who needed help.
This act of terror that brought us all together, this is why Never Forget is so important. It was during this dark hour in our history that we all stood together as Americans to help one another. First responders and many others joined in the efforts to help those affected by the attacks without fear of the consequences they would face during such a devastating time. They did so because it was the right thing to do. America stood together, stronger than ever, and helped one another.
